Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, generating an API key, or using any part of Auralink API, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Auralink is an API platform that lets you connect and use your own Discord bot. When you add a Discord bot token, Auralink uses it only to authenticate your bot and provide the Discord features you request, such as transcripts and Music. Your bot remains your own, and Auralink does not own or operate it. Auralink provides tools designed to work with Discord's API requirements, but does not guarantee your compliance with Discord's Terms of Service or Developer Policy. That remains your responsibility.
These terms apply to the dashboard, documented public API endpoints, public pages such as the status, changelog and transparency report pages, public transcript viewer pages, collaboration features, beta features, the Card Builder, account security tools, the anonymous reports page, Discord bot integrations, and all related products. Violations may result in immediate enforcement action, including permanent loss of access without refund.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use Auralink. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with a Discord, GitHub or Google account. You may maintain only the number of accounts reasonably needed for your own legitimate use. Creating accounts to evade limits, bans, or enforcement is strictly prohibited.
To create an account you must agree to our use of cookies, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for all activity on your account, including every API key, bot token, collaboration grant, purchase, and request made under your credentials. You must provide accurate contact information and keep your login credentials secure.
We may refuse registration, suspend accounts, or require additional verification at any time if we suspect fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
3. Description of service
Auralink API provides developer tools including Discord data access, web search, YouTube lookups, Minecraft utilities, transcript management, general utilities, cards (including the Card Builder), shared dashboard collaboration, and the Music feature, which plays audio from YouTube in a Discord voice channel through your bot. Auralink AI offers chat, summarization, translation, and content moderation through our API, using models from third party providers that you choose for each request. Helpy, our AI documentation assistant, answers questions about the platform.
Some features require you to provide third party credentials, such as a Discord bot token. Optional beta features may unlock experimental tools that are still under active development. The core API and dashboard are offered as a production service. Beta and alpha programs apply only to the specific optional features you choose to enable.
Account security features may include email verification, passkeys, trusted devices, and email based two factor authentication. Anonymous reports can be submitted through the public reports page without signing in.
Most product features are available through documented public API endpoints authenticated with an API key. The dashboard is a separate interface that uses your account session and is not a substitute for those API routes.
4. Public API endpoints
Programmatic access to Auralink is provided through public HTTP API endpoints documented at /docs. You must authenticate with a valid API key unless an endpoint is explicitly marked as public, such as public transcript viewer pages. Each key can be limited to specific feature scopes. You are responsible for all requests made with your keys.
When using public API endpoints, you agree not to exceed documented rate limits or attempt to bypass quotas, throttling, or scope restrictions; probe, scan, fuzz, or abuse undocumented routes, internal infrastructure, or admin interfaces; use the API to harass, spam, defraud, dox, stalk, or harm others or third party platforms; republish, resell, sublicense, or proxy the API to third parties without our written permission; submit unlawful content or use the API in violation of applicable law or third party terms; interfere with service stability through denial of service patterns, excessive concurrency, or deliberate resource exhaustion; or collect or process personal data about others without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
We may change, rate limit, or discontinue any endpoint at any time without notice. Public transcript links and other unauthenticated viewer URLs are provided for sharing content you created. Do not use them to distribute material you do not have the right to share.
5. Auralink AI
Auralink AI gives you access to AI models from third party providers, including OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Cloudflare and Anthropic. You choose a model for each request, and the models available to you may change over time. When you send a request, the text you submit is passed to the provider that runs the model you selected, and that provider's own terms and privacy practices also apply. You agree to follow those provider terms, including their acceptable use policies, when you use their models through Auralink.
AI usage is measured in tokens, the units models use to read and write text. Each request uses tokens for the text you send and the reply you receive. Models are priced differently: a request to a more expensive model uses more of your balance than the same request to a cheaper one. The cost of each model is shown in the API documentation. Chat may continue across turns using prompt codes, and multi user threads may identify speakers with user labels you provide.
The models apply their own safety behavior, and Auralink does not otherwise filter or block your requests and the replies you receive. The one exception is child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which is detected and blocked. We may still log and review AI activity to enforce these terms. AI output can be wrong, offensive, or unsuitable for your purpose, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. You are responsible for how you use the models and for the output you use or show to your own users.
You may not use Auralink AI to generate, request, distribute, or describe child sexual abuse material or any content sexualizing minors; produce hate speech, slurs, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence, terrorism, or discrimination; request explicit sexual, erotic, pornographic, fetish, or romantic roleplay content in any form; obtain instructions for serious harm, self harm encouragement, weapons, explosives, drugs, fraud, or other dangerous illegal activity; attempt to bypass the safety rules of the underlying models or the terms of their providers; impersonate Auralink staff, claim unauthorized access to internal systems, or misrepresent what the models can do; generate malware, phishing material, credential harvesting tools, or instructions to compromise systems; produce non consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes intended to harm, or defamatory fabrications presented as fact; automate high volume abuse, credential stuffing, or attempts to farm tokens across multiple accounts; or use AI output to moderate public communities as a sole safeguard without your own human review processes.
We do not guarantee that every unsafe request will be caught. You remain fully responsible for how you use AI output in your applications and for content your integrations expose to end users.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
The following categories are strictly prohibited across the entire platform, including API requests, stored transcripts, cards and Card Builder assets, collaboration access, public links, dashboard use, Music playback, and anonymous reports. This description is not exhaustive.
Prohibited categories include child sexual abuse material and any sexual content involving minors; terrorism, violent extremism, and credible threats of physical harm; hate speech and targeted harassment based on protected characteristics; non consensual sexual content, revenge porn, or sexual exploitation; human trafficking, exploitation, or coercion; fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, and financial crime; malware distribution, unauthorized access, and interference with computer systems; illegal sale or promotion of controlled substances, weapons, or stolen goods; doxxing, stalking, and publication of private personal information without consent; copyright or trademark infringement when you lack rights to the material; spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, and artificial engagement manipulation; and any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
We treat the most serious categories, especially child safety and credible violence, as zero tolerance matters. Accounts involved may be terminated immediately and reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.
7. Enforcement and account actions
We may investigate suspected violations using account data, usage logs, automated detection signals, security events, anonymous reports, payment records, and technical indicators. We are not obligated to provide warnings before taking action, especially for severe or repeated abuse.
We may, at our sole discretion, block individual requests, revoke API keys, or disable specific features; reduce quotas, freeze AI tokens, or suspend paid entitlements without refund; flag, restrict, place a security hold on, or permanently terminate accounts and ban associated identifiers; revoke collaboration access or beta feature access; delete stored content, transcripts, memory, cards, or other data tied to abusive use; preserve records and cooperate with law enforcement or rights holders; and decline reinstatement requests after a permanent ban.
Attempting to return after a ban through new accounts, keys, tokens, or payment methods is prohibited and may result in broader blocks across related identifiers.
8. Your Discord bot and bot token
You may connect your own Discord bot by providing its bot token. Auralink uses that token solely to authenticate your bot and to provide the Discord API features you request, such as transcripts and Music. Your bot remains yours. Auralink does not own, operate, or assume responsibility for it. To keep your bot available for features such as Music and presence, Auralink may maintain a Discord connection using your token. You can end this at any time by removing the token in Settings.
Auralink never requests, stores, or uses Discord user account tokens or your Discord login. Only a bot token that you create and provide is used, and only for bot authentication and the Discord API features you request.
You are responsible for your bot's permissions, its behavior, and its compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Developer Policy. Auralink provides tools designed to work with Discord's API requirements but does not guarantee compliance on your behalf. Your bot token is encrypted when stored and is only decrypted when needed to fulfill your requests. It is never shown in the dashboard or exposed to your browser. Other sensitive credentials are protected the same way, while passwords and API keys are stored in a form that cannot be reversed. Compromised or publicly exposed tokens should be rotated in Discord and updated in your dashboard. Removing the token in Settings disconnects the bot session.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Auralink API to violate any laws, abuse third party services, harass individuals, distribute harmful content, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, storage caps, beta gates, collaboration permission boundaries, or other usage restrictions. Misuse may result in suspension or permanent account termination without refund.
You must use the service in good faith. Attempting to obtain paid features, premium benefits, alpha access, beta features, or extra capacity without authorization is prohibited. You may not misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or entitlement when contacting support, submitting reports, or disputing charges.
Commercial use is permitted only within your own quotas and in compliance with these terms. Operating a public resale layer, unmanaged proxy, or unapproved white label API on top of Auralink is not allowed without our written consent.
10. User content and transcripts
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights you grant us to host, process, and display it as needed to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights to submit that content and to share it through public viewer links if you enable them.
Transcripts, cards, Card Builder assets, QR codes, AI memory, and similar stored items count toward your account storage limit. You are responsible for securing passwords on protected transcripts and for removing content you no longer want stored.
We may remove or disable content that violates these terms, exceeds storage limits, or creates legal or security risk, with or without notice.
11. Free tier and usage limits
Auralink provides free access to the vast majority of the platform for all accounts, including API endpoints, dashboard tools, Discord integrations, search, transcripts, utilities, and more. Free usage allowances may include API rate limits, storage limits, a free AI token allowance that renews over a rolling window, and other feature specific caps. These limits are intended for fair use by one person or organization per legitimate need.
If you need more AI capacity than the free allowance, you may buy additional tokens through the dashboard when checkout is enabled, or through our Discord server. Those purchases help us afford to keep AI and the broader API free and available to every developer.
New accounts may be offered a one time welcome bonus of AI tokens. It can be claimed once per account, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Creating extra accounts to claim it again is prohibited.
You may not create or maintain multiple accounts to exceed free limits or reset quotas; use alternate emails, identities, bot tokens, or payment methods to bypass restrictions; share, sell, or pool accounts or API keys so others can avoid their own limits; automate account creation or API usage to farm free benefits; exploit bugs, trial periods, or promotional offers to obtain free access you are not entitled to; or use the service in any way designed to get paid or premium features without paying when payment is required.
We may investigate suspected abuse using account, usage, and technical signals. If we determine that limits were circumvented, we may reduce access, lock accounts, revoke API keys, delete excess data, or ban you from the service without notice.
12. Paid plans and billing
Most Auralink features are free. Optional paid AI capacity, when offered, adds tokens to your account for use with Auralink AI. Purchases may be available as one time token packs, with minimum purchase amounts and token amounts shown at checkout, or as monthly subscriptions at published price tiers that add tokens each billing cycle. One time tokens stay available until you use them. Because each model uses tokens at its own rate, how far your tokens go depends on which models you use. Purchased tokens apply only to the account that purchased them unless we explicitly state otherwise. They do not unlock separate premium API features withheld from free users.
Payments processed through Stripe are subject to Stripe's terms and privacy practices. We record purchase details such as amount paid, tokens granted, and subscription status to manage your entitlement. You are responsible for keeping your payment information accurate and for charges incurred on your account.
If paid AI capacity is available, you agree not to share, resell, sublicense, or transfer purchased tokens to others; use one purchase to serve multiple unrelated users, teams, or public services without our permission; abuse purchased capacity through automation, proxying, or excessive load beyond reasonable personal or business use; charge back or dispute valid payments in bad faith while continuing to use purchased capacity; or circumvent billing, verification, or entitlement checks in any way.
Paid capacity may be suspended or revoked without refund if we find abuse, fraud, AI policy violations, or violation of these terms. Pricing, plans, model costs, and availability may change at any time. Subscription renewals continue until you cancel through the dashboard or we terminate the subscription. Donations, where we accept them, are voluntary and non refundable, and may earn a role in our Discord community.
13. Refunds
All sales are final. We do not issue refunds for change of mind, unused tokens, partial use of a billing period, account suspension for policy violations, downgrade requests, or because you no longer need the service.
The only exceptions are when we confirm, at our sole discretion, that (a) a payment processing error occurred and you were charged incorrectly, or (b) you completed a valid purchase but the corresponding AI tokens were not applied to your account due to a fault on our side. In those cases, contact us promptly through the support channels listed on the dashboard with your account email and purchase details. Requests made long after purchase may be denied.
Filing a payment dispute or chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension of your account and revocation of purchased tokens while the dispute is investigated. Fraudulent chargebacks may lead to a permanent ban.
14. API keys
Each account may hold multiple API keys. You may create separate keys for different projects, environments, or permission scopes. You are responsible for all activity performed with every key on your account.
Do not share your keys with others or publish them publicly, in client side apps, screenshots, or logs. Revoke or delete keys you no longer use. All keys on an account share the same usage limits, storage quota, and AI token balance unless we explicitly state otherwise.
15. Alpha program
Certain features are offered as part of an alpha program and are unlocked by redeeming an alpha key on your account. Alpha keys are issued by Auralink, are single use, and may be revoked at any time. You may not share, sell, or transfer alpha keys, or use them to gain access you were not granted.
Alpha features are experimental and provided as is. They may be unstable, change significantly, or be withdrawn at any time without notice. We may suspend or revoke alpha access at our discretion, including for abuse or violation of these terms.
16. Beta features
Some products are marked as beta and are available only when you explicitly enable beta features in your dashboard settings. Beta may include the Card Builder, dashboard collaboration (Collab), Helpy, and other experimental tools we designate as beta. Helpy answers questions about our documentation using AI and can be wrong, so check anything important against the documentation itself.
Beta features are experimental and may be unstable, incomplete, or subject to rapid change. Enabling beta features is an acknowledgment that you accept those risks for those features only. We may change, limit, or withdraw beta features without notice.
If you disable beta features, collaboration access and other beta gated tools remain associated with your account where applicable, but you will not be able to use them until you re-enable beta features. Sharing, accepting, or using Collab while beta features are disabled is not permitted.
17. Collaboration (Collab)
Collaboration lets an account owner share selected parts of a dashboard with another Auralink user through a share link and permission settings. Collab is a beta feature. Both creating or managing share access as an owner and joining or viewing a shared dashboard as a collaborator require beta features to be enabled.
Owners control which areas a collaborator may access, for example cards, analytics, keys, AI usage, or transcripts. Owners are responsible for who they invite and for the permissions they grant. Collaborators must use shared access only for the purpose authorized by the owner and must not attempt to expand permissions, copy credentials, or abuse the owner's data.
Collaboration grants can be revoked by the owner at any time. We may revoke Collab for abuse, insecurity, or violations of these terms. Disabling beta features on your account does not erase an existing grant by itself, but it prevents use of Collab until beta features are enabled again.
18. Card Builder
The Card Builder is a beta dashboard tool for designing visual cards that can be rendered through our cards API. Templates, canvas elements, and generated images or card designs are part of the service. Its AI design features use tokens from your account balance.
You are responsible for content you place on cards, including text, images, Discord profile references, and any public use of those cards. Do not use the Card Builder to create or distribute prohibited content described elsewhere in these terms. Generated card assets may count toward your storage limits.
19. Account security
Auralink provides security tools intended to protect your account. Depending on your setup, these may include email verification, passkeys, trusted devices, and email based two factor authentication. Certain actions, such as registering a passkey, may require a verified email address.
You must keep verification links, reset links, passkeys, and authentication codes confidential. You are responsible for devices and authenticators you register. We may place a security hold, require re verification, revoke sessions, or request additional checks when we detect suspicious login activity, compromised credentials, or other security risk.
Security features reduce risk but do not eliminate it. You remain responsible for securing your own credentials, API keys, and bot tokens.
20. Anonymous reports
Auralink provides a public anonymous reports page at /reports for submitting concerns about major bugs, platform issues, terms of service violations, user conduct, or related matters. You do not need an account to submit a report. Discord username and Discord user ID are optional. You may also include optional details such as a page URL and people or items involved.
Reports are reviewed as staffing and priorities allow. Submission of a report does not create a contractual obligation to reply, investigate on a particular timeline, or award compensation. For major bugs, a bounty may be offered at our sole discretion when a report includes enough detail for us to reproduce and fix the issue.
Do not use reports to harass others, spam the channel, submit false accusations in bad faith, include passwords or API keys, or attempt to evade cooldowns through technical tricks. Abusive or spam reports will not by themselves ban an account or cancel subscriptions, but repeated misuse of the reporting system may reduce a related bug bounty payout by up to 20%.
We may retain report contents and limited technical details, such as hashed network identifiers and timestamps, as needed to operate abuse prevention, including cooldowns, and to review submissions. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.
21. Music feature
The Music feature is an alpha feature that uses your stored Discord bot token to connect your bot to a voice channel and stream audio sourced from YouTube. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the feature complies with Discord's and YouTube's terms, applicable copyright law, and the rights of content owners. Auralink does not host the underlying audio and is not responsible for third party content.
Music playback is subject to availability and capacity limits. A fixed number of sessions may play at once, and additional sessions wait in a queue. Non premium sessions may include advertisements. Premium, where offered, removes the cap and advertisements and is governed by the paid plan terms above.
22. Third party services
Auralink works with third party services such as Discord, GitHub and Google (for signing in), YouTube, Stripe, Mojang, Resend (email delivery), search providers, and the AI model providers named above. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by third parties. You must comply with all applicable third party rules when using Auralink features that touch those services.
23. Intellectual property
Auralink, including its name, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by the project operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of our platform or trademarks.
If you believe content on Auralink infringes your rights, contact us through the support channels listed on the dashboard or by submitting relevant details through the anonymous reports page if appropriate, with sufficient detail for us to review the claim. We may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.
24. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Auralink from claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, your content, your collaboration grants, your reports, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party rights.
25. Service availability
Auralink is provided without guaranteed uptime, performance, or support response times. We try our best to keep the platform online, and our public status page shows live uptime, but outages and maintenance can still happen. We may perform maintenance, impose emergency limits, or modify features at any time. Free and paid access alike may be interrupted. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, beta feature breakage, collaboration interruptions, or degraded AI output quality.
26. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for any reason, including violation of these terms, nonpayment where applicable, or risk to the platform or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including prohibited use, refunds, indemnification, and limitation of liability, remain in effect.
27. Limitation of liability
Auralink API is provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, revenue, reliance on AI output, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for AI capacity in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing.
28. Transparency reports and updates
We publish transparency reports on our transparency page describing, in aggregate, enforcement activity such as account bans, appeals and data requests over a period of time. These reports do not name or identify individual users. We also publish product updates on our changelog. Reports and updates are informational and do not change your rights or ours under these terms.
29. Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes may be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page, and we may ask you to review and accept the updated terms before you continue using the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you must stop using the service.
30. Contact
For questions about these terms, contact us through the support channels listed on the dashboard. To report bugs, suspected terms of service issues, or related concerns, you may also use the anonymous reports page at /reports.
